Austin Stubbs Show Tuesday - Dallas Cavern Show Thursday !!!
I hope everyone is doing really well, and enjoying the fall. I am still working on a new album and new songs and playing shows as often as possible. I also have a new video that is coming out next week that I will be sure to send you all. Anyway this week is going to be a blast, and I hope you can join me for one of the shows if you are in Texas.
First, I am playing at the legendary Stubbs BBQ in Austin on Tuesday night with some great friends. I am opening the show at 9PM sharp so please come out early. Derek James, Dave Madden and Zack Walther and the Cronkites are also playing, so it will be a great night of music.
Then Thursday night I will be playing a special duo show with Adam Tyler Reed at The Cavern in Dallas. We will be opening up for our Best Friends Band, Sounds Under Radio. It is going to be their CD release part for their new album "Cinematica". They are the best band ever so go check them out online and pick up a copy of their new album.
That is it for now, but be on the lookout for the new Vimby.com video that will be up later this week. And keep us in mind for any holiday parties you might be having this season. We would love to come play for you and your friends. What could be a better than a little live music at your party!

Big Ole Austin Show on Friday 4/4/08 !!!
Hello you magical folks !
Me and my merry men will be hitting the road this weekend for a short trip to Austin. If any of you haven’t heard of Austin, it is where Blues still flows through the streets. And it rains Migas.
Anyway, if you live in Austin or around Austin you have to come to the show.
I can promise you that it will be very amazing, and it might make you cry tears of joy.

Kind of like Photo Bucket only not as cool looking, but better?

So I started a new photo organizer web thingy today...
I think there are 10,000,000 of these out there, but this one is good and is linked up to my gmail account.

Also I have been keeping weird hours the past few nights. I have been recording demos in my new makeshift studio in my room. It has been really fun, but really really hard. I have 3 new songs almost done, and 2 more on the way.
My friends like "The Ninja Song" the best...
It is fun and very different. Can you tell? It is called "The Ninja Song".
Not "I’m sad that girls hate me song" . I guess I am growing up (or down).
Well anyway...
I love you a lot. It is 2:24 AM in Dallas.

I have to drive to OKC tomorrow.
Oh ya, and just so you know 1 of the songs is a lame girl song....
I think you will like it. It kind of sounds like a song that could be on the Once soundtrack.

And now he won a grammy for that movie.

Funny Week
SO what a crazy week...
Probably the best week ever.. But easily the most confusing of my life.
I guess I learned a lot about myself this week, and people around me.
The funniest thing happened today...
I was checking my bank account online just to see if I could make it till Friday.
It was $-95.
That is awesome... How does that even happen.
I kind of laughed out loud....
I spent the next hour driving around Dallas listening to NPR on the radio trying to find a Wells Fargo.
From my apartment you can see a Wells Fargo, but they were out of deposit envelopes.
You have to get those deposits in before they hit you with the late fees.
I guess I have come to realize that more than likely I will have to sell a bunch of stuff to finish my new album. Or maybe I cant even finish it on my own. I might refinance my car to get a little more money. People do that with their houses, but in all of history nobody has ever done it with a car. It is just to dumb.
Anyway... being broke is the least of my problems.. In fact I have no problems.
I am very thankful for what I have. I have great friends and family, and great memories...
That is the important thing.
So here is to 2008, a great year.
